Bison hold off Nittany Lions, tie program record for wins in a season

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University men’s basketball team held on to win
a close 78-75 game here Sunday afternoon over Penn St.-Berks in a North
Eastern Athletic Conference contest in the Field House.

Gallaudet fights until the bitter end but time runs out on comeback

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University women’s basketball team had an
opportunity for a win slip through its hands Sunday afternoon as the Bison
fell 64-61 to Penn St.-Berks in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC)

Pennsylvania boys’ basketball

On Saturday, (2/4/17), Fanwood traveled all the way over here to play
against us for our annual Homecoming game. It was hot and emotional game,
and we competed really hard for entire game. Unfortunately, we lost by one
point at end of game! The score was 43 to 42. These boys gave their 110%
on
floor or off the floor to support each others. It was a great game! We,
the
coaches and players really appreciate the support from our awesome
alumnus,
families and fans!!!

Jacob Cross scored 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists. Nasir Ford
helped
with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals. Peter Dammer scored 2 points and
4 rebounds to support Jacob and Nasir.

The record is 2-12

Our next game will be on Monday, February 6th at Crefeld High School.

Pennsylvania girls’ basketball

On Saturday, 2/4/17, Our PSD’s Homecoming game vs NYSD Fanwood. WE WON
47-26. The first half Fanwood was leading by one. The second half the
girls
showed fire and passion.They did play great. For the first time in her
career, Yasmean scored a triple-double with 20 points,12 rebounds, and 11
steals.

Record 7-6

Next game, Next Thursday 2/9/17, Our Last HOME GAME vs. NJSD (New Jersey
School for the Deaf) Support our Girls Panthers. When you see the girls
tell them great job and keep up the hard work.
