Missouri girls’ basketball

Missouri School for the Deaf Lady Eagles February 6, 2017:

Tonight we played the Chamois Lady Pirates. We lost the game 16-53 making
our record 1-12. We played a good game. We remained positive throughout
and played as a team. We played excellent defense against Chamois and made
them work for every point they earned. Everyone went into the game
confident; it was great to see skills we’ve been developing come into
play. Though it doesn’t look like it on the scoreboard, we played one of
our best games of the season tonight. We are gearing up to head for Little
Rock, Arkansas this Wednesday for our annual Great Plains Schools for the
Deaf (GPSD) tournament. Our first game of the tournament will be against
New Mexico at 1:00 pm on Thursday February 9.
