WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University and Notre Dame of Maryland University
were minutes away from ending Wednesday night’s women’s soccer game in a
tie. That was until junior Sabina Shysh (Tucson, Ariz.) lifted a shot past
the Gators goalie in the 88th minute to give the Bison a 2-1
non-conference victory.

Indiana football preview

Football Game Preview: Indiana School for the Deaf vs. Tindley

This week, Tindley (3-0) faces off against Indiana School for the Deaf
(1-2) on Friday at 7:00 PM. Indiana School for the Deaf will need to watch
out since Tindley has posted big point totals in its previous three
matchups.

Tindley claimed a 38 – 26 victory over Gary Roosevelt last week. As for
Indiana School for the Deaf, it was crushed by Knightstown 48 – 20 last
week.

The last time they met, Indiana School for the Deaf hopped past Tindley 31
– 14. Will Tindley avenge its loss? We’ll find out soon enough.

Mississippi football

The scheduled game with Central Baptist Academy
will not be played. The school program folded
because the coach left for another school.

Mississippi says it is not a forfeit win.

The game with Louisiana has been rescheduled -
the original game date was postponed last
weekend because of Hurricane Harvey.

Riverside football preview

Football Game Preview: Nuview Bridge vs. California School for the
Deaf-Riverside

This week, California School for the Deaf-Riverside (1-1) and Nuview
Bridge (0-1) square off against each other on Thursday at 5:00 PM. This
will be California School for the Deaf-Riverside’s first away game of the
season.

California School for the Deaf-Riverside won a game last week that
couldn’t get any closer, slipping by Vasquez 21 – 20. The outcome was a
definite jolt of excitement for California School for the Deaf-Riverside
after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.

Meanwhile, Nuview Bridge received a tough blow as it fell 38 – 20 to
Bloomington. The team got a solid performance out of junior quarterback
Alexx Nunez (he threw for 181 yards); unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough
for the win.

The last time they met, Nuview Bridge was the clear winner with a 40 – 6
finish. Will California School for the Deaf-Riverside avenge its loss?
We’ll find out soon enough.

what became of the past Gallaudet baseball coach?

Matt Lisle, the last Gallaudet baseball coach before Curtis
Pride took over, coached the 2008 team.

While his team had a 4-29 record, his biggest accomplishment
was coaching the team to a 30-7 win over Christendom College.

What is he doing nowadays?
