new USA Winter Deaflympics boss

USADSF Appoints Harvey Nathanson as Winter Deaflympics Team Leader

USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) announced the appointment of Team
Leader for the 19th Winter Deaflympics.

Although the exact date and locations for both events have not been
confirmed, they say “the Board is proactively preparing for both events
in the hopes Team USA will have the opportunity to compete.”

Team Leader for the 19th Winter Deaflympics:

Harvey Nathanson is currently employed at the Texas School for the Deaf
(TSD) as a Job Coach and an assistant football coach for the Varsity team.

that Nissan renewed its sponsorship of this

There were updates on his early 2017 rally events
but none since then.

Joseph “J.D.” McMillin

School: Powhatan

Weight: 113 pounds

McMillin, a dedicated, deaf wrestler, finished this season as the 2018
Jefferson District champion, 4A Region B champion, 4A state runner-up and
the Arrowhead Invitational champion. Deafness has led McMillin to develop
his own style of wrestling.
