reason for no deaf football schedule yet

one school responded. They said:

We are still working on it. Many teams folding or switching
levels, etc. Won’t know for a while.

Note:

sigh! A new way of football life among smaller schools
(both deaf and hearing).

Even one national power (hearing) has serious scheduling problems (from Baltimore)

random deafsports thoughts

Thinking back about Gallaudet football, DeafDigest Sports
editor cannot help but recall the 0-10 season in 1997
that leapfrogged into a 1998 season with a 7-2 record
and a conference co-championship.

A key player, who had not played football in several
seasons, decided to play this sport again. Word got
around and many other talented players, also sitting
out this sport, decided to follow his lead and play again.

It was an overnight transformation leading the
coaching staff to feel it would be a great season,
and it was!
