random deafsports thoughts

There was a newspaper story today of a Dallas Cowboys staff
member standing on the New Orleans Saints sidelines. People
were suspicious as to why was that person standing in
enemy turf. He was not a coach, but part of the Cowboys
half time entertainment planning group.

This reminds DeafDigest Sports editor of an incident
involving a new Gallaudet football coach years ago.
During a Gallaudet football practice, a stranger was
jogging on the track. No one knew who he was and the
nervous coach confronted him, asking him who he was.

It was a new Gallaudet employee, on the job only a few
days. He just wanted to do some jogging. Convinced,
the new coach let him continue jogging.
