Maryland softball

Maryland School for the Deaf vs. Massanutten Military Academy. Won 16-5.
Record: 1-0

Maryland School for the Deaf softball team won their opening game of the
season with Cassidy Perry who went 3 for 3 with a homerun over the fence
with 3 RBI and pitched 2 shutout innings. We walked 12 times which helped
us win the game. Crystal Salit closed down the game as pitcher while
Cassidy Perry was the catcher. With bases loaded, the opponent hitter hit
ball straight to Salit which she threw to Perry at home and Perry immediately
threw to first base for a double play to seal the game for the win.

Missouri track

Missouri School for the Deaf Track team ran their first track meet at
Montgomery City on March 19. They did their best and some of them earned
their own Personal
Record. The coaches were so proud of them and their effort. The boys
earned 8 points for their team. Our next meet will be on Thursday March 21
at Monroe City,
Missouri.
