women’s soccer
Neild’s four goals propel Gallaudet to its first win this season

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – Senior midfielder Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) had a
career game here Saturday as she netted four goals to lead Gallaudet
University to its first women’s soccer win this season as the Bison
defeated the College of Saint Elizabeth, 6-1.

Neild scored twice in the first half, both unassisted marks, and twice in
the second half. Her second goal of the game came off a free kick from 25
yards out that got past Eagles goalie Haley Baron (10 saves)

Gallaudet shut out at own tournament

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University women’s volleyball program hosted a
competitive tournament this weekend in the Field House as the Bison
welcomed five teams from around the region.

The Bison (0-8) were shut out during the two-day Gallaudet Tournament as
they lost two matches in straight sets and two in five-set thrillers.

Bison home opener spoiled by Knights

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University men’s soccer team played to a 3-3
draw with Berkeley College (N.J.) here Saturday at Hotchkiss Field as the
two squads played through two scoreless overtime periods.

GU (0-2-1) held a 3-1 lead with five minutes left in regulation before the
visiting Knights (3-0-1) rallied to score twice to force the extra frames
and spoil the Bison home opener.

Missouri School for the Deaf played with Arkansas School for the Deaf on
9/7 at our home gym. It was our first game and we are learning how to play
each other. We
might didn’t win the match but the girls played hard and tried their best.
The scores were 15-15, 8-25, 8-25. Myia Dandle, FR., leads with four
serves. Julia
Stafford, SO., helped the team with three serve. We will travel Oklahoma
on Wednesday 9/11 and play at 7 pm.
