Missouri girls’ basketball

On Thursday November 14th, your Missouri School for the Deaf middle school
girls hosted their second home game against Columbia Independent. Family,
friends, and
local fans all came out to support our girls. Our opponents were very
skilled and our girls did their best, with a final score of Columbia
Independent 37 to MSD 4.
Our girls had sixteen attempts from the floor and 12 team rebounds. Some
highlights from our players include:

Ja’Kaida Smith – 4 pts, 6 rebounds

Christina Bobo – 1 rebound

Jasmine Colley – 3 rebounds

Isabella Davis – 1 rebound

Annabelle Wyrick – 1 rebound

Our girls will play again next week on Monday the 18th against Columbia
Independent and Tuesday the 19th against Missouri Military Academy. Both
are away games and
tipoff is at 6:00. Come support your MSD Eagles!

VYPE Austin Preseason Private School Girls Basketball Team Breakdowns

No. 2 Texas School for the Deaf: The Rangers won their first 33 games of
the 2018-2019 season before falling in the TAPPS 4A state semifinal, so
they plan to build on that success during the 2019-2020 campaign. They
will lean on all-state honorable mention Michaela Kelley, first-team
all-district players Ashlene Etkie and Kaci Ketchum, second-teamers Ashley
Harlicker, Brianne Leiker and Jewel Rocha, and honorable mentions Jayne
Taylor and Isadora Egbert
