random DeafSports thoughts

DeafDigest Sports used to get involved with
spring sports – track, baseball, softball and
tennis.

Not anymore. Why?

In track, Berg/Seeger does the job of recognizing
Deaf Athletics (track and field)

In baseball, there is Hoy which does the job of
recognizing Deaf Baseball

In softball, there is Hoy which does the job of
recognizing Deaf Softball (fast pitch). Among
some EAAD schools, there are invitational slow
pitch tournaments. Fast pitch and slow pitch
are two different things

In tennis, how many deaf schools field tennis
teams?  In the past it was about 4-5 schools.
