with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

After leading in the first quarter, being behind at the Half by a point and in
the game when the third Q ended, fatigue struck our short-handed boys midway
through the 4th quarter, allowing the Warriors to score several quick baskets to
pull ahead at the end.

Bruce Brewer, Jr had 20 points and 5 assists.  Luis Villalobos has 20 points and
15 rebounds, Adrien Ercolino stepped up with 12 points and Jesus Rios had 6.

The boys will open district tournament play against Walatowa at the SF Indian
School at 5p today.

Riverside Baseball & Softball

We had a season-opening home games in baseball and softball.

Baseball – we lost to California Military Institute, 14-6 after being tied
at 6-6.  Record: 0-1.

Softball – we lost to Redlands Adventist, 20-4, after allowing them a 10-0
lead in the first inning. Record: 0-1.

St Mary’s boys basketball

SMSD 2019-2020 vs Walsh

The Bisons took on Walsh for the first round of IAC playoffs at Walsh’s
gym yesterday evening. The game was close for a quarter, but then Walsh
took over for the
most part and defended any of the Bisons efforts to get back in the game.
The Bisons fell 37-76. Nick Barrus led the way with 13 points, Ryan
Brzezinski had 9
points, Ethan Antone 6 points, Kassim Kassim 5 points and Isa Habeeb had 4
points. This concludes the boys season and the team would like to thank
everyone that
helped in some way along the way, it’s much appreciated. Congratulate the
boys if you see them on a great season. Go Bisons!
