Our Head Baseball Coach Ryan Lentz asked to be relieved from his duties
due to his priority as a father to a newborn baby and a CSD Teacher.  We
were saddened to
learn of this but we fully respect his wishes and support him.

We would like to announce that we are appointing Charles Holmes as our
Head Baseball Coach this season.  Charles has coached at CSD since 1984
and has unique
experience as a “Jack of All Trades” skills having coached five different
sports spanning over five decades.

With what has surfaced over the last few weeks, I think we need to realize
that we are very fortunate to have an incredible community.  When we faced
a dilemma with
our baseball and softball coaches the last few weeks, we instantly found
four new coaches and so many more who expressed their willingness to help
if needed.  Thank
you!

Our boys teams at CSD has not lost one game at home this school year!  We
are 17-0 in Boys Basketball and Cheerleading and before that, we went 4-0
in Football and
Cheerleading.

South Fork has become our new rival lately and will not give us another
one without a battle!  Tonight, we host them in the Northern Coast Section
Semifinals in a
rematch after we won the CSD Classic Championship 41-38 in December.
Since we are the #2 seed in the playoffs, this might be our last home
game.
