The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind defeated St. Augustine in
the Yellow Jackets’ inaugural flag football game on Monday night.

The Dragons held St. Augustine scoreless for the final 17:20 of the game
to win 28-25.

St. Augustine’s offense, which featured Meeks at center, Erin Smith and

Iowa Girls Basketball

Finished the season with a respectable 9 & 11 record.  The team of only 6
players snapped a 40 game losing streak,

had a 6 game winning streak, and finished 6th at GPSD.   By far the best
team I’ve had in my 5 years as
the girls coach.  Best player was senior Molly McEvoy.  15 pts, 5.3
assists, 4 steals, and 5 rebounds per game
averages.  She will be deeply missed.  Next year we will be very
inexperienced.
