In season opener loss to South Park, 50-0, Brian Fuller rushed 14 times for 112 yards.
It had been raining for the most of the game. We did have few scoring
opportunities but did not score. We dressed only 11 players. We have only three
returning starters and most of our players experienced first time as starters on
both sides of ball. QB Quinton Webber starter as QB for the first time, completed
4 out of 10 passes for 22 yards and 2 interceptions. South Park is bigger and
taller than us, they played aggressively and physically more than us. Up next
game will be at home against powerful team Hanover. Record is 0-1

Texas football

Texas School for the Deaf Rangers had a goal. They wanted to win the first
game of the season, something they tried to do the last five seasons. TSD
seized control on the first play of the game when junior running back Alvin
Anthony broke free for a 73 yard touchdown that set the tempo for the rest
of the game. The Rangers endurance was evident, rushing 30 times for 359
yards and 6 touchdowns. Anthony ran 2 times for 110 yards and freshman
running back, Gareth Ashton had 6 carries for 106 yards. The scoring did
not end with the Rangers offense- the defense disturbed the rhythm of the
Spartan offense and forced 3 fumbles and recovered all 3, snatched two
interceptions with one returned for a touchdown but the touchdown was
called back due to a penalty. DasChe Spartans were able to return a
kickoff for a TD, putting their sole 6 points on the board.

September 4th at 7:00 pm is our next game at home against Texas Wind.
