Gary Wendell Dornon

After graduating, he earned a position teaching Industrial Arts to
visually handicapped children at the Arizona State School for the Deaf and
Blind. He enjoyed teaching blind and visually handicapped kids how to use
shop equipment and how to do foundry work. He firmly believed that they

deaf female boxer

Stephanie Mfongwot

Australia

Inside the ring, there are no punches pulled between brother and sister
Stephanie and Jonas Mfongwot. The pair trade crunching blows as they spar
under the watchful eye of veteran trainer Steve Kerr.

Australia provided safe haven and specialist treatment for partial
deafness diagnosed at birth. In Cameroon there was no treatment but
Stephanie now wears hearing aids and the condition is improving.

college deaf athletes

Davidson College

Danny Davis

Senior

men’s soccer

he is posted on the college soccer web site:

http://www.davidsonwildcats.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=5661

last year he played 14 of his team’s 17 games but
starting zero games!

We will see if he will be promoted to starter or
continue as a sub, “first player” coming off the
bench.

overlooked in professional baseball

overlooked was Austin Solecitto, deaf relief pitcher,
Rice University, ending his career in 2016

He pitched 12 games with the Sussex County (NJ) team
in the Canadian-American Association in 2016
season. His stats were not impressive -
allowing 6.89 ERA in 15.2 innings (12 games).
This league is independent, not part of the
minor league system.

He is probably no longer playing ball this season.
