Last-second field goal deflates Gallaudet in home opener

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University football team suffered a
gut-wrenching 23-21 loss to Greensboro College here Saturday at Hotchkiss
FIeld. Greensboro freshman kicker David Chappelear got a second chance to
kick a 22-yard game-winning field goal with 23 seconds left in regulation
and this time around it split the uprights and sent the Pride home
winners.

Gallaudet men’s cross country

GU places 12th at Morrisville State College Mustang Invitational

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Gallaudet University men’s cross country team
finished 12th overall at the Morrisville State College Mustang
Invitational in the season opening race for the Bison. Gallaudet
accumulated 360 team points to finished 12th out of 13 teams.

team made a nice comeback during the second set.  Being down 8 points and
coming back to win the game.  Wisconsin will be a team to watch during the
GPSD tournament.
