Gallaudet men’s basketball

Gallaudet pulls away late to top Berks in conference opener

Washington, D.C. – The Penn State Berks men’s basketball team overcame
an early first half deficit and battled evenly late into the game, but
Gallaudet University was able to pull away late to grab an 86-78 victory
in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener on Wednesday night.

The Bison had six players reach double figures in scoring, led by Noah
Valencia with 19. Andy Cruz added 19 points and nine rebounds, while
Preston Kelly tallied 14 points.

It’s nice to follow up a win with another one the next night.  We’re still
far from perfect but will take a 2-0 start to the season.  We improved in
some areas of our game, but regressed in some others.  We will need our
bench players to start to step up
soon if we want to maintain this nice momentum we’ve got going for us now.

Florida girls’ basketball

Yesterday night, the Varsity Lady Dragons had our third straight game at
Taylor (Pierson). Our girls were not 100% physically and mentally ready
for the game. We moved slowly on both offenses and defenses. We missed
many shots near the basket. We made
many turnovers. We lost, and the score was 27 to 21. However, we know the
girls will work hard and improve some during our practices.

Lexington School for the Deaf, boys basketball bluejays.

Last season’s results; I was assistant coach for Bluejays boys basketball.
Recorded: 9-13. (ESDAA hosted at ASD, placed 4th.
Metro League Tournament lost in Semifinal.

Coach’s outlook; One of outstanding teamwork as chemistry between on
defense and offense as well in the bright future. It’s only in the
beginning on open season.
