random deafsports thoughts

in the past, DeafDigest Sports editor used to maintain
statistics in football and basketball, but not any more.

Why?

A perfect example was Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the
Crowd. It featured a top deaf running back during the
nineties. It mentioned his career rushing stats.
The Faces in the Crowd rushing stats and DeafDigest
Sports stats (given by his football coach annually) were
off by about 50 career yards!

So much for stats!
