Florida football

Hello Dragon fans.  It is with sadness that I must tell you that our
football season is over.  Harvest Community played a heck of a game and
handed us our first
loss of the season, 22-44.

Don’t let the score fool you, it was 22-22 with 4 minutes left in the game
before the wheels fell off for us.  Our injuries were too much for us to
overcome against
a team of Harvest’s caliber.

Nevertheless, we had a really great year, and we let the world know that
the Dragons of FSDB can play football!  A longer email will come later
with all the stats
and info.

Thanks for following us this season, appreciate it!

Fremont football

As I just announced on the field after the game recently, the NCS has
decided to postpone the playoffs one week to let everyone get their 10th
game due to the fires
and forfeitures.  We are one of those teams with 9 regular season game and
we have found a very respectable opponent to play and we will go to Hoopa
High School
next weekend.  This game is 5-6 hours drive up north of here so we will
dismiss from school on Friday November 8 at 1pm and transport in multiple
school vans.  On
Friday, we will drive, check in at a hotel nearby, practice, and eat team
dinner all at a location to be announced soon.

Oklahoma Football

It was very good and physical game during cold weather.  It was between
35-40 degree at Life Christian Academy (Oklahoma City).  We could have
won, but lost to
them.  It was 14-24 with six turnovers (4-fumbles and 2-interceptions).
Again, I’m truly proud of my football players who didn’t give up their
hard work and fought
all the way until end of the football season.  They are my champion in my
book.  Because of their hard work, motivated, and sportsmanship for
success on this
football season.  We will miss four Senior guys who poured all their
hearts into the football team, also helped all other football guys ready
to step in with more
experiences.  Seniors: Tyler Manek, Jose Salas, Roland Potter and Alex
Gonzalez.

Oklahoma – 14
Life Christian -24

Record for final season:  5-0 (GPSD) 5-3 (Overall)

I will update with our final football statistics within a few days.  We
now will focus on basketball season.  Our first scrimmage will be on this
Monday with Cristo
Rey at OSD.

Riverside football

On a senior night recognizing 12 seniors (1 cross country runner, 3
football players, and 8 cheerleaders), we won 54-26 over Desert Chapel.
Record: 4-4 (2-3).
Awaiting bid for the playoffs next week.
