Minnesota boys’ basketball

vs Grove academy

The score was 72-34 and we lost.

I’m happy with what I saw tonight from my young players as they stepped up.
Shawn, Benny and Karsen played well tonight. Even though we still need work on
our rebound and defense. Our offense ball movement is getting there. That is
where our young players stepped up their game to next level by catch the gaps
and pick n roll. Looking forward to go back practice and keep grinding for the
rest of the season.

Record 0-9

Benny dow 28 points on 40% fg

Karsen Schroeder 6 points 2 assists 2 steals and 2 charges

Shawn Ketchum 9 rebs and assist

random deafsports talk

The Houston Astros have been severely punished for
cheating in baseball.

A past football coach asked if it is cheating when
he stole signals from opposing deaf coaches during
a football game.

DeafDigest Sports editor’s response

Two different issues.

Using eyes to steal signals is common – takes place in
all sports, eyes only, no binoculars. Gallaudet invented
the football huddle to prevent football teams from
New York School for the Deaf and Pennsylvania School for
the Deaf stealing the signals (1894).

Using electronic devices and using videos to steal signals
is a serious issue.
