Why so few All-Americans? Same story –
coaches who do not send in scores
have not been invited to submit their
All-American nominations.  All reports
MUST include updated won-lost records.

One coach repeatedly sent in scores
but left out the won-lost records,
forcing DeafDigest Sports to pursue
this missing, but vital information
for weeks until that coach finally
gave that won-lost update!

now for football, must wait until
two remaining playoff teams (Riverside
and Texas) end their seasons.

Go, Texas and go, Riverside!

random deafsports thoughts

Who was the first deaf Black All-American quarterback?

Was it Alfred Duncan, the 1955 All-American with
Illinois School for the Deaf? or was it Maurice Mosley
who was also 1955 All-American at California School for
the Deaf at Berkeley (not Fremont)?

Or was it a tie?
